Rabbit’s Dress Shop

Hidee-ho. King here. I’m taking the tour duties today, as the Queen is a bit under the weather. Actually, she’s under the table the Rabbit house sits on, and we’re waiting for our holder to notice and fetch her out. This is because of the cat. Not one of our cats, mind you. All of our cats are well-mannered citizens of the village. I’m talking about the holder’s cat, a coal black, fur factory of a beast who thinks that anything with feathers or fur must be hers. The poor Queen spent a horrific ten minutes being batted around the floor before being lost in the depths. We’ve called down to her, and she is okay for now, if a little dusty.

If our holder doesn’t notice her down there by the end of the week, we’ll take matters into our own hands. Er, paws. There’s a time limit to this sort of thing, and what our holder doesn’t see won’t hurt her/

So onto Grandma and Grandpa Rabbit’s dress shop. The Rabbits, senior, established this shop a couple of years ago. They carry a variety of goods, and offer several services, which contribute to both the economic health and the social well-being of the kingdom (The Queen told me to say that). Mrs. Rabbit is an expert seamstress, as you can tell by my king-outfit (I’ll turn around so you can see my cape).

Cool, eh? Real velvet. She also made all the guard uniforms, with some help from our holder. But I digress…

The Rabbit’s store. Clothing ready made or bespoke (which means made to order, if you didn’t know). They’ll also make clothes that don’t fit you fit you. Tailoring, I mean. This is important because some of our clothes were removed from McDonald Happy Meal dolls, and they’re not the right size. This, of course, wouldn’t be necessary if we came from Ebay fully clad. But it’s hit or miss in the used toy market, so there you are. Besides that, all of the Grey-bears wanted to have uniforms alike, since they make up most of the royal guard. You’ll see them all when we feature the castle.

Sorry. Digressed again. The Queen is always scolding me for that. The Rabbit’s dress store, where you can find fabric for sale, thread, Perfume in swanky bottles, bars of soap, shampoo and lotion, and hats. Oh yes, I forgot about the hats. They have a variety of hats, for the ladies as well as the guys. Here I am in my own Indiana Jones hat.

I would have tried on one of the lady’s hats, but the Queen says that kind of thing is inappropriate, since our holder has declared our gender.

Oops. I can hear the Queen telling me to quit messing with the camera and get on with it, though she is very far away and faint. Nonetheless, I’d better comply.

Oh, and I should tell you about our sanitation failities. Here it is right here.

Handicap accessible, and everything. And a potty seat for the kiddies. The Rabbits use it as a dressing room as well, though the Queen isn’t exactly happy about that.

So, if you’re in the need for some spiffy togs, or maybe some glittery items for your dressing table, just hop right on down (yes, I did say ‘hop’) to the Rabbits’ dress shop, and they’ll fix you right up.

Tally ho and pip pip and all that royal stuff, to you. Here’s the rest of the pictures.
