And no, this isn’t JZ McKenzie. Our holder is a busy woman. She set up this website and never got around to using it, so we’re doing it for her. Honestly, the woman was a software engineer for decades, you’d think she’d be a whiz (or a wiz) at social media, but does she sit down at the keyboard and take care of business? The first thing she tried was a post in Facebook, and she couldn’t figure out how to write anything. So sad.
I know you see a bunch of toys in the picture above, but JZ doesn’t – or hasn’t – written any children’s books. Her books are for teens and grownups. It’s just that she has this obsession with dolls and doll houses, happily for us. So we, the residents of Bear Kingdom Village , have decided to take things into our own hands. We owe her that much, at least. She built our village, after all. And clothed and gave us our identities, after liberating us from Ebay. We are grateful, but after watching her write book after book and never getting around to publishing any, we decided to step in.
Making this website work is not necessarily an easy thing, since we have to do it at night when everybody’s asleep. That’s one of the UnbreakableToy Animation Rules: We have to do everything out of sight. And there’s the problem of having no fingers, and arms that do not bend at the elbow. But we’ve figured it out, even if it does take six or seven of us to manage the keyboard. Thankfully, our holder leaves her camera sitting on her computer desk, so we were able to get the pictures.
Please excuse my subjects’ recalcitrant expressions. (And Mrs. Rabbit would bring the babies.) They’re not all convinced taking over an author’s website is the right thing to do. However, as they say, it is good to be the Queen. I have threatened them with the dungeon if they don’t cooperate, and no one wants to be locked up in there with the Raccoons.
